Audiobook Player is a local media player for Android. This policy explains what data the app stores and how it is used.

Data We Collect

We do not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. The app operates entirely on your device.

Data Stored on Your Device

The app stores the following data locally, solely to provide its features:

• Playback positions — the chapter and timestamp you last played for each audiobook, so you can resume where you left off.
• App preferences — settings you configure within the app (e.g. last opened folder).

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.

File Access

The app reads audio files from locations you choose on your device's storage. It does not scan, index, or upload your files.

Permissions

• Foreground Service / Media Playback — required to keep audio playing while the app is in the background.
• Notifications — used to display playback controls in the notification shade.

Third-Party Services

The app does not use any analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting services.

Children's Privacy

The app does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
